Our very own Steven Clark, formerly manager of PDM Buildbase Falkirk and now pricing analyst for the business, completed another phenomenal cycling challenge to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
Steven is raising money for BHF in recognition of the fantastic work they do and to celebrate both the British Heart Foundation’s 60th year, as well as his own 60th year.
However, more importantly, he’s doing amazing work to raise funds on the back of the care he received from the SCAAA Air Ambulance and Ninewells Hospital in Dundee following his cardiac arrest in August 2020 whilst cycling.
The cycle took place across the 27th/28th/29th August and covered 184 miles, taking in the Lecht and Glenshee Ski Centres, 2 hills over 2,000ft and lots of smaller hills in between.
His wife Mary and his friend Caron were there as support crew as Steven covered the following:
Pitlochry to Aviemore Friday 27th – 58 miles
Aviemore to Ballater Saturday 28th – 67 miles (via Glenlivet)
Ballater to Pitlochry Sunday 29th – 59 miles
