PDM Broxburn worked alongside FP McCann and Mulholland Contracts to supply the largest culvert order in Scotland.
“PDM are delighted to be involved in this high profile job, working in partnership with FP McCann and Mulholland Contracts to supply the largest culvert order in Scotland which was delivered to site over the course of just 11 days; we continue working together to pursue future projects.” – Pamela Scott, Branch Manager at PDM Broxburn.
102 large precast concrete box culvert sections were installed to form a three run offline foul water attenuation tank beneath a landscaped area on a new residential development on the Cammo Estate in Edinburgh.
Cammo Meadows is a consortium housing project between Cala Homes and David Wilson Homes which will consist of detached properties, terraced homes and apartments.
The 820,000 litre storage tank represents the largest attenuation system supplied in box culvert form by FP McCann.
Head of Scottish Sales, Gary Donnelly adds, “FP McCann’s multi-purpose box culverts can be used in a number of applications including watercourse diversions, pedestrian and road crossings and service ducts. As an attenuation system, a number of features can be built in such as dry weather flow channels, inlet and outlet points and man access openings. The Cammo job represents the largest box culvert storage tank we have supplied to date and we look forward to collaborating with PDM and their supply chain partners on future projects.”
