We recently shared how A dozen PDM and Huws Gray colleagues have successfully completed our Aspiring Managers training course, a comprehensive program designed to nurture and develop future leaders within the company.
This intensive program equips participants with essential leadership skills, including effective communication, conflict resolution, and strategic thinking. Through a combination of e-learning modules, virtual training sessions, and in-person workshops, participants gain valuable insights and practical tools to excel in management roles.

Here we take a look at Marcelle McEvoy’s Journey!
Marcella McEvoy’s journey with Huws Gray is a testament to the power of ambition, hard work, and the transformative impact of the Aspiring Managers course. When asked about her initial interest in the Aspiring Managers course, Marcella shared, “I was drawn to the course because I’ve always aspired to a management role. It seemed like the perfect opportunity to gain valuable insights, develop essential skills, and position myself for future career advancements.” Marcella particularly enjoyed the face-to-face sessions, which allowed her to connect with colleagues from different branches. “It was great to put faces to names and build relationships with people I’d only previously interacted with via email or phone,” she explained.
The course also provided Marcella with a deeper understanding of PDM and Huws Gray’s operations and goals. “I gained a broader perspective of the business, realising that there’s more to it than just sales. This newfound knowledge has significantly enhanced my role as a manager,” she said.
